Team Field Duty - Tantum Park Fields

As part of the Work Bond and Team Duty you will be required to help your team and league out with Field Duty, which will be scheduled by your team manager once you’re registered child is assigned to a team.   Bond checks are required for all player’s families including Managers, Coaches, Board Members and other Volunteers.  If there is a conflict on your work duty day, please contact one of the coaches who will get in touch with the Bond Officer and work out a possible alternative and fulfillment of your duties.  If work duties are not properly met, then RLL will have to cash your bond check.  Bond Checks are $200 & made out to Robbinsville Little League.  In the Memo write: Duty Bond- name of Child.  Bond Checks can be dropped off at the free player clinics located at the Indoor Batting Cage or to your Team Manager.  If you have any specific questions or concerns, please reach out to Rob Pinard (RLL Bond Officer) [email protected].

Field Duty signups will be done by Team Managers through the Signup Genius link below.  Once completed, they will be added to the Blue Sombrero Team Schedule.  Check the online schedule for dates and times, then click on the MANAGERS CONTACT directory to get in touch.
Field Duty includes preparing and maintaining all FOUR FIELDS at Tantum Park (T1, T2, T3 and T4) per assigned Time Slot prior to the start each game
- Division Group 1: Majors, SOFT A, AAA, SOFT B, SOFT C - Will be required to pick 2 Time Slots
- Division Group 2: AA, Rookie, Tee-Ball, Soft Tee - Will be Required to pick 1 Time Slot

As a result of the 2019 Tantum Fields rehabilitation project, RLL has issued new guidelines for maintaining the fields.  Please take the time to review this document thoroughly and view the video links for examples on how to perform several field maintenance tasks properly.  It is extremely important that everyone follows consistent field maintenance practices in order to keep the fields in the best shape possible for our players.
